We have been asked to share photos of the before and after from our house renovation.
I have split them up into individual blogs. This one covers what was originally our dining room and conservatory.
Two years ago the dining room became an office for us both to work from home in. The conservatory was too hot to use in the summer and too cold in the winter, so it became a junk room.
Demolition of conservatory.
Removal of original doors and windows at end of house (we kept the stained glass).
Demolition of large chimney breast.
Removal of old ceiling and replace with new along with fitted downlighters.
Replastering of all walls.
Build insulated brick extension in place of conservatory.
Fit new kitchen.
Paint all walls.
Fit new French doors and window to extension together with sky lights.
All new electrics and pipework.
Move gas boiler from upstairs to new kitchen, replace with new unit.
New radiators.
Wall tiles.
New skirting boards.
Apologies for the huge number of photos - but it was a big undertaking!
