On a recent visit to Brighton we discovered the Eden Perfume shop (in the North Lanes, 26 Gardner Street, Brighton).
Row upon row of glass bottles each one filled with a different blend of natural scents and all available to try. You can either investigate on your own or a very helpful assistant is on hand to guide you.
Not only are the fragrances all delightful to smell, they are also 100% vegan, cruelty free and ethically sourced. The ingredients are organic where possible and are between 80% and 90% certified organic ingredients.
All the fragrances can be purchased in three sizes of glass bottle and when you run out you can get the bottles refilled at a discounted price.
The prices are incredibly reasonable too.
After much deliberation and sniffing of probably way too many different fragrances (they provide a pot of coffee beans to smell in between to clear your senses) I settled on a very woody scent called 'Epik Man', it is incense, patchouli, sandalwood and oud - a strong blend but one that I love!
They offer everything from light citrus through flowery, oriental, musk and fruity - there will be something you like whatever your preference.
